... here is the evidence that dogs are completely capable of emotional manipulation – Rusty expressing his feelings of abandonment by using my backpack as a pillow... riddled with guilt I succumb and shower him with treats.. I am SUCH a sucker ..

    Its a shame you are abandoning your four-legged animal in search of more exciting four-legged animals. I'm sure Rusty would enjoy chasing elephants and zebra's and would very much appreciate a paddle in the lake with the friendly hippos. Although he's such a woos he'd no doubt want to sleep in the tent with you rather than man-up and sleep outside guarding you from being kidnapped by natives seeking to benefit from your kidnap fund.

    Just as we suspected there will be no posts from Africa as Africa has no internet. I believe the whole continent has one two way radio which renders it useless as there is no one to speak to. The African two cans on a piece of string is only one can and half the length of a piece of string again rendering it useless.
    I predict the next post will be on her return.
