Tikal
As if strolling past Maya temples towering over the jungle canopy, Coatis digging on the side of the path with tails like pericopes in the air, huge slow moving (thank god) tarantulas, howler monkeys overhead, toucans and the vague threat of jaguars and the "Three-step snake" (once bitten you have three steps before keeling over) as IF this wasn't enough - if you climb to the top of the temple of the TWO HEADED SERPENT (I know it gets better and better) - you look out on the vista that George Lucas filmed in "Return of the Jedi"!!! Sigh ... Mesoamerican bliss ...

Ahem? Filmed in Return of the Jedi?
ReplyDelete1) Richard Marquand directed although George Lucas shot much of the second unit filming.
2) The Forest Moon Endor was shot in Redwood National Park as the Endor was unavailable.
3) Do you mean Star Wars?
4) Did you mean Star Trek?
Ahem... (Oh well keep enjoying yourself)
